Beloved, gather close.
Look not to the valley below, where papers flutter in the wind and voices rise in dispute. Lift your eyes higher.
For there is a question that echoes in every generation:
Who is master over conscience?
Is it the One who formed man from the dust and breathed into him the breath of life?
Or is it the hand that writes upon parchment and calls a name into record?
Hear this plainly:
Conscience is the altar of God within a man.
It is not minted.
It is not stamped.
It is not issued.
It is breathed.
A Christian man cannot serve two masters.
He cannot bend his knee inwardly to one while outwardly pledging his soul to another.
For divided allegiance wounds the heart.
If a document is created, who created it?
If an instrument is issued, who issued it?
If duties are attached, who attached them?
The tree bears the fruit of its own planting.
A man who walks in clean hands and single-hearted devotion does not seize what he did not create.
He does not claim authorship of what he did not design.
He does not bind himself to that which his conscience cannot embrace.
Beloved, the inward sanctuary belongs to God alone.
Let your heart be undivided.
Let your faith be without duplicity.
Let your conscience remain clear before Heaven.
Stand upright.
Render your worship to God.
Keep your soul unentangled.
And let every man answer for what he has fashioned.
Now hear these questions plainly spoken before Heaven:
WHO FASHIONED THE STATE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
The state authorities fashioned the state birth certificate.
WHO FORMED MAN?
God formed man.
WHO PURCHASED MAN AND WAS THERE IN THE GENESIS WITH GOD MAKING MAN IN GOD’S IMAGE?
God created man in His image.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1
“All things were made through Him.” — John 1:3
“And God said, Let us make man in our image.” — Genesis 1:26
Christ, the eternal Word, was with God in the beginning.
And as for purchase:
“You were bought with a price.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20
That price was the blood of Christ.
God formed man.
Christ was there in the beginning.
Christ redeemed man.
WHO OWNS THE NATURAL MAN OF CREATION?
“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” — Psalm 24:1
God is Creator.
By creation and by redemption, man belongs to God.
Life is His gift.
Breath is His breath.
The natural man is God’s workmanship.
WHO OWNS THE STATE ISSUED LEGAL BIRTH ENTITY AND IDENTITY ISSUE?
The state that issued it.
Blessed are those who keep their conscience pure,
For theirs is the peace that no earthly power can take away.
